The CCCVFD is interested in attracting new members. You could be one of them...

Today's Fire Department, although still called such, is actually "Fire and Rescue".
Department members assist fellow canyon residents
with incidents ranging from medical emergencies in the home to automobile accidents, from hiker and/or biker acidents to structure and/or wild-land fire. Some incidents require immediate advanced life support, for which a helicopter lift often provides quickest response...
Members of the department assist the community 24 hours a day, if needed --- although volunteers are not 'on-call' with the CCCVFD, they are contacted via pager and respond only to those calls they can. A minimum of 20% of calls is expected (to ensure adequate training & skills levels.)
Old or young, female or male, we welcome fire fighters of all varieties. (That said, applicants must be 18 or older.) Please, if you are interested, contact us at 303-642-3121 and find out what it is all about.
