Recycling Program

 

Items NOT ACCEPTED

These items will contaminate the Bin for

Single Stream Recycling:

  1. BulletHazardous or Bio-Hazardous Waste (Needles and Syringes)

  2. BulletPlastic BAGS (this includes the one you bring the recyclables to the bin in.  Please take you Plastic Bags home and reuse)

  3. Bulletused Motor Oil Plastic Bottles

  4. BulletPaper towels and Napkins (compostable NOT recyclable)

  5. BulletClamshell OR “to go” plastic containers with NO number

  6. BulletPlastic Egg Cartons

  7. BulletSix Pack ring holders

  8. BulletPlastic Plates, Forks, spoons or Knives

  9. BulletStyrofoam (includes Packing Materials and Peanuts)

  10. BulletCeramics or Pyrex

  11. BulletPlease: TAKE Plastic bags HOME with you! Thank YOU!!

Keep the Green Box

in the Canyon!

In November 2011 the CCCIA in partnership with CLEAN IT ROLL OFF SERVICE started a Recycling Program.

Information below:

List of acceptable items  that can be mixed together in one container

(NO plastic bags) and put into the GREEN BOX.

HINT:  Bring recyclables in a paper bag: Dump and throw Bag in & recycle  too!!

  2. BulletCorrugated Cardboard [flattened] BTW: even the box you carry the flattened boxes in needs to be emptied & [flattened]!

  3. BulletChipboard (cereal & tissue boxes) [also flattened]

  4. BulletPlastic Milk Jugs  [Rinse out]

  5. BulletEmpty Aerosol cans [empty!!!]

  6. BulletBulk or Junk Mail

  7. BulletAseptic Packaging (milk and orange juice cartons)

  10. BulletSteel or tin Cans[Rinse out]

  11. BulletPlastic (#1 -#7) Bottles and Tubs [Rinse out]
